Just downloaded the demo. If driving there is anything like here, it should have speed traps, scary grinning dude standing by a mailbox waving, deer crossing the road(or not), cell phone users driving, double trailer trucks, Cattle and chicken trailers.

No, in Canada they have Grizzly Bears crossing the road. And unlike dear, if you stop to let them cross, the bear will drag you out of your car and tear you to shreds.

Wow

I'm sure that the Saskatchewan demo ran right through my Dad's wheat field.

OK, well, I don't agree with that statement BUT the point I did want to make is that Microsoft really needs to port some version of DirectX to the PocketPC. Now that it's capable of such great graphics, and with us getting both Video Chips and Faster Processors, the PPC game market could really take off if they focus on developers.

Problem now is, as great as this game's graphics look, it probably took the authors for ever to do!

That, and we have to always drive with our windows up for fear of getting nailed by a stray hockey puck. :black:

You haven't driven across Canada until you've driven the Kicking Horse canyon :) And Roger's Pass too :D

I think this one will steal the spotlight from Choppy Alley in the "Games that Look Really Nice But Run Like Crap" category. I get about 2FPS in low res mode. High res mode? Let's not even go there.

Great potential here, but they need to make stuff like this PLAYABLE before they release it.
