Just heard the news - shall fax Fujitsu in 36pt type (don't laugh, this kind of direct action has occasionally paid off - management do actually get to see this kind of thing sometimes...)
The Loox had everything, and the add-on module had obviously had some thought put into the design (e.g. the fact it was also a battery pack). Frankly, I don't want to mess around with add-on cards or a separate mobile phone.
Ok, so techies may be happy to mess around with setting up various cards, sourcing add-on software etc., but the average user just wants an integrated item with a core set of features which enable it to work out of the box.
In the UK at least we seem to only now have the XDA as a PocketPhone option (given the number of reports of problems with the HP928) and that is cute, but lacks the full functionality of the Loox.
Frankly I can't see the PocketPhone PC edition lasting if the hardware offerings continue to be so half-hearted.
