As far as I can tell this is limited to a form for modifying a single table. Is there a similar product that can be used to build a form and enter data into a multi-table relational database? Does anyone know of a comparison that has been done on the plethora of DB apps out there?
Thanks.

You can actually manipulate multiple tables in DOTR, although relationships are not supported. That is not a DOTR limitation, but rather an ActiveSync Access conduit limitation.

ActiveSync provides a conduit for syncing Access database information from the desktop .mdb to the CE format .cdb. It only syncs tables. Which tables and fields within those tables, is fully configurable. It is a true sync. That is if you make a change in one record on the PPC and a change in a different record on the desktop, the changes will be merged on both copies, just like the PIM information. It is not just a copy of the latest full document as file syncing is.

There are numerous DB options for the PPC, many with relational capabilities, but none that can use the AS Access conduit as the file transfer system as it itself doesn't support relationships. DOTR is probably the simplest way of getting and manipulating data from an Access DB onto your PPC, given that you don't depend on relational tables.

To get an idea of what is available for PPC take a look at http://www.microsoft.com/mobile/pocketpc/tips/database.asp
