I get an error running the "free" Pocket PC Vulgus game. I used the Remote Display Control to capture the error. Any thoughts? Why doesn't it work?

-Toshiba e310
-20MB free space (total)
-No other programs running

*NOTE - What you see above may not be the error message. If it says "Image hosted by angelfire" right click on it, properties, copy the address of the picture into the address bar, and view it from there. Angelfire is a stickler about bandwidth.*

Also, is this the Pocket PC cousin to the quite annoying "You have performed and illegal operation..." on Windows 9x?

Yup, I got an error after installing it also. Did a reinstall and still got the same thing. *shrug*

I've gotten a similar error, and the problem was caused because I had another Capcom game installed. Since they use the same files, I had to consolidate the two games into one folder. I left one folder intact and copied the file vulgus.bin into it. Then I was able to pull both games by running the capcom main icon (gng_ce.exe)

Hope that helps

Unfortunately, I don't have any other Capcom games installed so your suggestion won't work, I'm afraid. I suppose that the saying is true: you get what you pay for (and the game was SUPPOSEDLY free)
