One of reason I bought my ipaq is to cut down on the paper in my old daytimer. So, I also bought a scanner to scan and save in my ipaq random pieces of paper that I would otherwise have to keep, or retype. My problem is that once I scan a doc, I can not figure out how to "format" (condense-shrink) the scanned item to fit the screen of my ipaq. Can someone help?

Scan to 200 or 300 dpi (depending on the document and scanner quality). Save to TIFF G4 (single or multipage). View with my PQview software on your iPAQ (www.bitbanksoftware.com). Select "Scale to gray" for the best view of bilevel (b/w) documents. From PQview you can quickly view your documents and print them to HP PCL printers with IR ports.

Hey, thanks Larry. I was looking for a simular solution. :)

I believe last time I tried PQV on the Jornada 525 it locked, but works wonderful now.
Some funky colors, and a few buttons mess stuff up, but that's to be expected.
