I spotted a pretty cool post in DevelopMentor's <a href="http://www.developmentor.com/compactframework/">.NET Compact Framework Discussion List</a>. Biometric signature scan, 6000 free eBooks and a location based killer app - all for Pocket PCs. Casey Chesnut is obviously busy cooking up "cool to megacool" Pocket PC and .NET goodies!<br /><br />"<a href="http://www.brains-N-brawn.com/bioSign">/bioSign - cool (personal rating)</a><br />CF .NET signature scan biometric for PPC [free code].<br /><a href="http://www.brains-N-brawn.com/gutenberg">/gutenberg - kind of cool</a><br />Converting 6000 guternberg projects TXTs to LIT format for the PPC [free books]. <br /><a href="http://www.brains-N-brawn.com/noSink">/noSink - megacool</a><br />Location-based Killer-app."

Anyone have some good recommendations as to what ebooks to download? That's what I hate about Project Gutenberg... there may be a lot of stuff, but most of it is worthless to me. Finding the few things that are of use to me is complete guesswork. Now I have that guesswork in Pocket PC format. :? :)

It's really cool to see all these samples of what can be done with a connected Pocket PC and the .NET tools. The combination of mobility, connectivity and Web Services is unbeatable. Casey is doing a great job, and I want MORE!!!

And Andy, really cool that you bring up things like this to the community! I beleive great applications begin with great developers that create cool samples.

Keep us updated!

Can't help but point out that my alma mater has a few thousand ebooks online at http://etext.lib.virginia.edu/ebooks/.

This site has actually been a link on the MS Reader site for a long time.

Enjoy!
