When a call comes in the user can see picture of the one calling instead of only the contact name the phone number. Caller2Picture is now available in public beta.<!>

If you follow the link you can download the beta, participate in the beta forum and even win your own copy once it is released!

I think the beta testing program has probably just finished because it's now available to buy on PocketGear:

The above is an affiliate link for PocketGamer, by the way. ;)

I know because I was one of the first people to buy it, and it seems to work excellently. The 60x80 picture size limit is a little restrictive, but it's enough to fit a good mug shot in!

The only real problem is persuading people that they need to email me pictures of themselves... probably a little tricky for business contacts... ;)

I thought the news was that it was available for beta... If it is released, then it is an even more noteworthy event! Thanks for the update!

The final version is on hold temp but should be available due today again.
BTW: The picture size is the same which you can snap with a T68i CommuniCam in the MMS mode which is 60 x 80!

The winners of the 5 copies will announced later this week on PPCW.Net; thanks for all the great Beta feedback!

Looking forward version 1.5/2.0... ;-)
