http://www.pocketprompter.tv

PocketPrompter mounts to almost any internal-focus broadcast, DV or movie camera lens. It's a one-way mirror system, allowing a reporter or actor to read scrolling text off a PocketPC running PocketPrompt software. You create a text document on your desktop computer and transfer it to the PocketPC-- or create a document directly on the PocketPC in the field. You clip the PocketPC underneath the camera lens and scroll the text forwards and backwards with a remote control mouse. The text is surprisingly bright and easy to read! You can also change the size of the text.

Reporters can now take this with them everywhere they go and have intelligent commentary emailed to them so they don't stammer around with something that makes little sense. Source: Humphrey

WOW. This looks GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Frankly, I hate teleprompters. When I have used them in the past, they have always been difficult old computers and then the mount on the camera weighted 30-50lbs. This is really a sweet solution. I bet it won't be long until there are some reporters using them.

Which text reader apps have auto-scroll besides PalmReader?

It isn't autoscrolled. You have a controller.

Why would you need this? I mean is it really that hard to say Palm stock down another 7 percent? :D
