http://www.9292ov.nl

I asked the Dutch readers to go to 9292ov.nl in March and ask for a Dutch train schedule for the Pocket PC. Apparently enough people did this, as 9292ov.nl sent out a message that next to the PalmWijzer for the Palm OS they'll offer a PocketWijzer for your Pocket PC as well. The current release only works until December 15 2002, when the new train schedule will be released by the NS. The price for this version is $5.95. It's good to see that more and more companies see opportunities to develop Pocket PC applications, even if it's just for a small market like The Netherlands.

we've got the same for more than 3 years now here in Germany. It's produced and sold by the Deutsche Bundesbahn and comes together with every CD you buy for your Win-OS PC. It works wunderfully and covers almost every European country with all-in-all more than 40.000 stations (main stations and main train lines in Europe only; every station/line in Germany) When updates are available you are informed via e-mail and the update files come via internet. Price is EUR 5,- for a CD covering 6 months. On the Pocket PC you can decide if you want main stations only, all stations in Germany or all stations in Germany plus main lines/stations in Europe.
