No SMS/TXT message mapping to Contacts?

It seems far too obvious an oversight for even Microsoft to have missed surely... the Pocket PC 2002 Phone software on
my XDA doesnt seem to map SMS messages received to names in my contact list.... so I just see +447734xxxxxx

It also doesnt tell me the length of the message I am sending until after I've sent it and it's sitting in the sent box... a little late
to be concious of the 160 char limit??

Am I missing something?
If not... is anyone aware of any software upgrade that rectifies this?

This is a known bug with no fix or solution at this time - Microsoft is very aware of it though, which I hope means they'll fix it. "Soon" never really happens with them though, so don't hold your breath.

As a workaround, some people do a copy/past into the FIND field - so you can look it up manually.

I know, it sucks, but the Mobile Devices team didn't talk to enough SMS-heavy Europeans.... :-)

Yeah, thanks Jason... that's what I am doing at the moment. It works fine... just a bit of a nuisance. What a huge oversight!
