I don't think anything like this exists, but has anyone discussed it before? I know there's been brief mention of integrating 3D accelerators into the PDA itself, but would something like this be feasible, or perhaps an IPAQ sleeve for acceleration? Is the sleeve, or CF bus speed just too slow? Just wondering other peoples thoughts.

Hello

That would be awesome if something would come out like that.

The highest 3d graphics accelerator I have seen for Pocket PC is from ATI, called an Imageon 100. Too bad it has to be built in... Has 384k SDRAM memory.

Here is a link- http://www.ati.com/technology/hardware/imageon100/index.html

It says, "Standard SRAM interface to connect to many leading embedded microprocessors, including:
Intel® StrongARM and XScale...." I wonder if it means it can be bought and put onto the microprocessor??

Interesting...
Good luck :D

amcmoe, not into the processor, but used with it. Basically what they are saying it that the chip is support by and supports the StrongARM and XScale chips.

Erm, isn't this what I already have in my Toshiba e740?
