Hi,

Sorry, newbie in trouble :?:

I lost my eWallet file (no password, bank account...).

I backed up a few days ago but i don't kno ow to open the backup file and extract the .wlt file

The original backup when synchronising.

I get an enormous (12Mo) backup.stg (on my desktop PC) file but if I double click on it there is no program file attach on it.

Any good thoughts ?

Rafael,

This was created a while ago, but it seems to work on all .STG files (I just tried and was able to extract a eWallet file from a backup I made).

Well, first of all, thank you very much :D

The HPC Vault soft is great....unfortunately the :twisted: ewallet file was gone before my backup (which was the first and unique i did since i own that great 3970 at the end of august)...

Datas are all gone... :cry:

Was there a way to have the ewallet file store in flash ram (as it is for my contacts database which "comes back" after i soft reset) ?

To stupid to own a PPC :cry:

But i'll keep trying :P , the 3970 is great !
