I have a GenioE and as you know accessories for it don't really exist in the USA. While trying to be creative I noticed that the power supply for the e310 and e740 are very close to the specs of the Genio adaptor. Here are the specs:

GenioE
5 volts, 3 amps

e310 / e740
5 volts, 2 amps

Will the 2 amp e310 charger be able to feed the power hungry GenioE with out melting down? I'm kinda dumb when it comes to electricity and dont want a fire or damaged Pocket PC. Any shared thoughts would be helpful.

Charles, I'm not very knowledgeable regarding electricity either, but needed another adaptor for my e550G too (to keep at work). Tried the one for my E-125 (less amps, but I can't remember the exact figure)--but it wouldn't charge the Toshiba. I am now using a "Digital Camera Multi-Voltage Power Adapter" that I bought at Radio Shack for $20.00. It works fine. I have it on the 5 volt setting, and its rated at 2.5 amp. Hope this helps!

Someone from work said they thought that the 2 Amp supply would charge the Genio and that they thought that the Genio would not try to draw out 3 amps from it. I'd still like to hear from someone with a little more knowledge before I reccommend it to others. I did plug it in for a few minutes and the Genio did begin charging. I'm just worried I might start a fire. Thanks for the info though.

I've been checking the Audiovox on-line store regularly for accessories too. Just now I see that they are saying the AC adapter for the Thera and Maestro is the same one that comes in the box with the e550G. (It's $39.95)

Still no PC card expansion sled yet though. :(
