Hey all... this happened to me again this morning and I remembered it from last week, so I set up the circumstances on purpose and found it is repeatable every time... bug :?:
Playing mp3s with WMP, screen toggled off, notification of a calendar event goes off, can -not- toggle the screen back on. Soft reset required at this point to do anything else with the machine.
Compaq 3835, all the latest updates and patches in place.
