Couple of questions for you all:

1. Is there any way, when I do a sync with AvantGo, to have the AvantGo content put directly on my storage card (SD, if it helps) rather than in the machine's RAM?

2. The desktop Windows Media Player will play MPEG files, but the version on my handheld won't. Is this normal? If so, what's a good program out there that will play back MPEGs?

Well, this is a simple one. You have two choices for video MPEGs. Media Player for the Pocket PC only supports WMV, so sadly you will need to use another. Luckily there are two cheap/free solutions.

The folks over at ProjectMayo have created a Pocket PC client of the popular DivX. It plays a large number of mpeg formats, and is free: http://www.projectmayo.com/projects/detail.php?projectId=9

Your second option is PocketTV: http://www.mpegtv.com/wince/pockettv/
Now I know very little about this client, but it puports to play your MPEG videos without fail. One version is free the other has a price.

Good luck and enjoy your Pocket PC experience!

Here (http://www.phm.lu/PocketPC/RegTweaks/Tweak.asp?ref=6) You also need a registry editor if you choose to do it this way: http://www.phm.lu/Products/PocketPC/regedit.asp

Or RegKing (http://www.cewindows.net/applications/regking.htm) can do it for you.
