http://www.e-pocketsetup.com/

I just learned that PocketSetup 3.2 is now available. PocketSetup is a great tool to create setup programs for Pocket PC applications as well as for any other Windows platform. You can import your existing .CAB files to edit and add more to. Image below shows editing the device's registry. Definately worth a look if you ever face the challenges of putting together a setup program!

Me too

This is an awesome setup program with more power than InstallShield at a fraction of the price.

I continue to be amazed that there is no such facility in .NETcf - manual install of CAB files is the only option from M$ at present.

I downloaded a copy of ePocketSetup. It looks like a nice product, its a lot easier to use than InstallShield (of course, its a lot more limited than InstallShield)

However, while trying to build a test install program, I haven't been able to make an install program that will actually copy files to the PocketPC. No matter what I specify, the CAB file simply gets copied to a directory on my PC.

Now, I understand if this is a limitation of the unregistered version, preventing the creation of an actual useful install program. However, there is nothing in the documentation that specifies this as a limitation, nor is there enough useful help in the help files or a demo project that I can use to verify this one way or the other.

Of course, it could just be IUS :) (Inherent User Stupidity)

Not to be too picky, but it's version 3.3 that's now available.
