second generation xscale

anyone have any idea when the next generation of xscale based pocketpc's will come out? i don't want to make a purchase now and then 2 months later i find out there's new ones. i really hate to purchase anything that is first generation. thanks...

I have no inside information or anything, but I think this one will be around for a while. There are only a handful of currently available devices that use them. I think the focus now will be on the next revision of the O/S and the new devices, especially those that integrate the phone functions.

I don't have any direct evidence of this, but that seems to be the way things are shaping up.

Well I recently saw a post (PPC Newsgroups) about the XScale issue and that we should "hang tight, a solution is coming...." (a quote of Jason Dunn himself :wink: )
