Because of a job change, I am going to have to acquire a Nextel phone (Handset of my choice 8) ). I’ve been using Cingular GSM with my oh so small Nokia 8290, and loving the features of SMS, and the phone book stuff I can do.
Now, I know that Nextel is iDEN not GSM, and I know that the phones are primarily (if not exclusively) Motorola. Nextel also has an unlimited data service they’re calling PacketStream Gold. Access to this of course gives my PocketPC access to the Internet, and all the joys therein (if it works). But what about phone to PDA features, and software?
My question to the Gods of PocketPC thoughts… Is anybody out there successfully interfacing their Nextel Handset with their PocketPc and if so what all can a person do?
