I just purchased a used IPAQ 3650 with Linux installed. I don't no much about Linux and would like to install the original OS. Is this possible? Missing software, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

where did u purchase this at??

and have you tried hard reset???

I believe you need a complete backup of the devices ROM image which could have been made before Linux was installed. Linux installs to the ROM so PPC has been wiped clean (in most cases) and a hard reset will do nothing (though is worth a try).

www.handhelds.org is probably your best bet for finding out about how to deal with this.

I purchased it on ebay, No I have not tried a hard reset, don't really know how (newbie).
