I have an ipaq with a PC card sleve and I was wondering if it were possible to hook up a PC card DVD player and have a portable DVD player?

Probably not. I've never seen one that has Pocket PC drivers, and the
CPU isn't powerful enough to decode that much in a datastream.

Your best best is to use PocketTV to view a DVD you've re-encoded as MPEG1. Needs about 512MB of storage for a typical movie fullscreen.

Better than Pocket TV get pocket Divx and encode your movies in .avi . You can use the Divx codec or the VP3 codec 1/2 the size as Divx but not as good of quality..

Most movies can around 175 to 200 megs, full screen and everything.

Kind of a hobby for me. It really freaks people out when they see me watching movies when I eat lunch...

Why does it freak people out when they see you watching movies on lunch? I guess they think it is cool and want to see how it works.
Anytime i take out my pda it draws eyes because most people dont carry them and use them. I believe a lot of people are uneducated on how wonderful they can be and useful.
