That's funny. I posted this registry hack on this board over the weekend. See my Contrast applet post (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2003) for details. (It's post #9, I think, currently the last one in the thread; it's also the second of mine in the thread.)

Yeah, I know, but I don't follow Sprinklerhead. In fact, I just saw the Sprinklerhead post today through a post at Pocket Now about the Toshiba e740.

The funny part I mentioned was that I posted it here (Pocket PC Thoughts) just recently. Plus, if you read my posting, it's more thorough, easier for a novice to figure out (will a novice really know what HKLM is?), and mentions other applets (including the Policy applet). :-)

I discovered these tricks a few months ago, actually, but never posted them. I'm not saying these are new discoveries, just that I found them myself while browsing through the registry. (Do you know the iPAQ 3870 registry has entries about SMS, for example? Maybe some Phone Edition features crept into Pocket PC 2002, but didn't get implemented.)
