http://www.pocketfillers.com/

When I get a new site sponsor, I like to spend a few minutes learning more about the things they sell - and it seems to me that for $9.99 US, SuperAlert will address quite a few things that people complain about being broken on 2002 (rightly so). Some of the features of SuperAlert:

• Independent Volumes for Alarms - you can now choose to have an alarm at a different volume from the system settings
• Power on for Repeat
• SafeAlert - Ensures, if your device supports this, the system powers up 10 seconds before an alarm
• The number of times the additional file will sound can be set per repeat.
• Escalating Alarms - The additional file can be played louder and more times per repeat.

The escalating alarm volume is something I've heard that Handspring users miss - so it's nice to have a 3rd party app that I can point to that will address these problems. $9.99 is a reasonable price for something that will fix one of the glaring bugs in the Pocket PC 2002 OS. I've never used repeating alarms myself, once is enough, but I know this is a big issue for many of you - so go grab the trial version of SuperAlert today!

I have a question ... I use Pocket Informant which automatically repeats an alarm until I shut it off. Is there any benefit of using this software above and beyond what PI offers in basic functionality?

This app has proved to be very reliable for me over the past 2 and a half months since I moved from Palm to PPC. I've even set my morning alarms to play an mp3 instead of some annoying, generic beep.

EXCELLENT program.
