It appears the reader requires a PCMCIA slot and your data will sync back to your PC. Seems like more of a task to be done by your Desktop machine. I'm all for things mobile, but I'm not going to lug around a card scanner everywhere I go. They will need to make this solution much better before I would consider it.

Thought: How about it as a single CF card with a built in scanner, with a setup like the old hand scanners. Drag it over the card and it scans the card, instead of a brick attached to a cable, attached to a PC Card that most people with PPC's can't use.
