DejaVu Software, Inc. is looking for dedicated Windows CE users who also use telnet, SSH, and/or serial utilities regularly to beta test a new terminal program for PocketPC, H/PC, and PsPC devices. Beta-testers will receive a discount on the final purchase price of the program, roughly proportional to the quality and quantity of feedback we receive.

Since this program (in part) uses strong cryptography, to participate you must be a U.S. citizen or a person who has been lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the United States under the Immigration and Naturalization Act.

If you're interested in participating, please send a brief description of your qualifications to:

[email protected]

In addition, we're suffering from a severe dearth of creativity here at DejaVu, and haven't come up with a cool, catchy, yet descriptive name for this product yet. We're looking for something that says "potentially secure terminal application that you can take with you", all in a one- or two-word name that hasn't been taken already, and lends itself to a nice logo. Our best efforts have produced:

Virtue (virtual terminal under emulation)
MoTer (mobile terminal)
CENTer (CE network terminal)

If you can do better (and who couldn't?) send your submissions to:

[email protected]

If someone comes up with a name that we decide to use, we'll give you a free registration code for the program, and credit you in the About box and on the website. You'll be famous! The deadline for submissions is April 11th, so get thinking!
