<a href="http://www.hexacto.com/news.php?nwid=11">http://www.hexacto.com/news.php?nwid=11</a><br /><br />Sometimes the simplest games are the most addictive. I'm really looking forward to the release of this game, because it has a premise that looks simple but enjoyable. I remember playing a similar game on my Apple IIe clone (a "Lazer 128") many years ago, and I loved it. I haven't played many Hexacto games, but they certainly have strong visual design skills and a good grasp of Pocket PC marketing. Nice to see! And I just realized they're a Canadian company - excellent!<br /><br /><img src="http://www.hexacto.com/img/games/lemonade/small.gif" /><br /><br />"Want to test your entrepreneurial skills? With Lemonade Inc., you're in business! It's a well known fact: even the simplest ideas can become very lucrative. In Lemonade Inc. you have the chance turn a kid's game into a serious and profitable enterprise.<br /><br />You start with a small lemonade stand and a few dollars in your pocket. Check the latest weather forecast and try to pick the best location for your stand, tweak your lemonade recipe, set your prices and manage your inventory. Re-invest your profits and streamline your production methods to earn the best margins out of every workday. Make the wrong decisions and you'll be on your way to bankruptcy faster than you think… Make the good ones, and you just might take your enterprise to the top!"

I'm a little foggy on it too. I think it it drilled you with some math questions and then you got to play out a scenario to forcast sales. I remember something about having a "Rainy day" in the game and lightening and thunder, but that's about it. I do remember enjoying the gameplay.

I can only remember bits and pieces. Basically every day you made decisions on:

- amount of lemonade to make
- price to sell it for
- suger to buy (I think?)

And there were random factors like weather and events that would impact your sales. It made me the entrepreneur I am today. Hehe.

8) I seem to remember that game in 6th or 7th grade also, and breaking out of it and modifying the code(it was basic) to cheat! heh.

There was a free enterprise musuem at the university were my dad works. They had a lemonade stand game running on an Apple 2 (my dad helped code it). Needless to say I played the game quite a few times. As I recall you would set the price of a cup of lemonade, pay for advertising, and set how many cups of lemonade to make. The amount of lemonade you sold that day depended on the weather so you needed to keep an eye on the weather report. The purpose was to make as much money as possible in 30 days.

I did a search on yahoo and came up with quite a few similar games.http://google.yahoo.com/bin/query?p=lemonade+stand+game&hc=0&hs=1, so if you want to bring back memories before this new game for the Pocket PC comes out check out some of those.
