http://www.dreampages.com?aff=pocketpcthoughts&page=hewjor567col.html

One of our affiliate partners, DreamPages, posted something in the Hot Deals forum that caught my attention: they're giving away a free battery with the purchase of a 567. The Jornada 567 sells for $579.95, and the battery has a retail value of $59.95, making your device cost $520. Not bad at all!

There are some other deals in there worth checking out: Jornada 548's for $284 US ($449 CND), 802.11b PCMCIA cards for $89.95, and the ever cheap CompactFlash cards from Aaronix.

I heard people can buy 567 for $490 at Dell. So I guess this isn't really a great deal.

I so love it when people stomp on my efforts to earn a bit of money from affiliate sales.

OHOHOH

I didn't noticed you have an affiliate link... sorry Jason. didn't mean to hurt your sales.

But still, it's not really a deal with that kind of price.

Actually Dell has them for $539.95.

Dell must have some kind of deal with HP. We only net 3-4% on these. Dell is selling them well below wholesale.

dreampages,

Well, $539.95 isn't the exact price. Get one of those 'always-there' 10% off coupon and the price's down to $487. It's the Jornada 567 I am talking about.

I followed that link to aaronix for cheap cf cards and the price on their website does not match the price you posted in the main article. did they jack up their prices?

The prices I quoted we accurate as of when I posted them - prices will always changed. Last time I checked, prices on 512 meg cards were up a little, but the 128 meg cards were lower...nature of the beast I guess. :-)
