From the pictures, it looks like this thing extends down a bit. Is it compatible with the new batteries such as the SD/MMC and extended battery versions from HP which protrude out a bit?

Has anyone tried just cutting away part of the plastic case on the 568? Looks possible and might be neater and smaller that the CF Pocket solution.

If I had a Type II card (and a replacement case!) I'd give it a go. Just ordered 2x256MB Type I cards rather than a 1GB Microdrive as I couldn't find a UK supplier for Atek's CF Pocket.

No idea why HP went for "Type I extended" rather than Type II as standard anyway.

It is not compatible, extends too far down and the battery is too thick. :cry:

It would be so cool if the CF Type II adapter just extends just a little bit. It could be possible with the CF Type I extended slot
