Okay. A very basic How-To...

1. Download and Install MagicSS. ITS FREE! http://www.louterrailloune.com/magicss.html

2. Map the program to a button (example: Contacts. Dont worry. Its temporary)

3. Set up your Today Screen precisely how you want to show it off to us.

4. Press the mapped button (example: Contacts) and it will ask you where to save the pic.

5. Happy day. :twisted:

Unfortunately PPCthoughts doesnt host pic files so this thread wont get much action. But most picture hosting places will do fine so just link your pic once its up. I'm using freeservers to host mine.

:?: Weird. Why was this moved from "CONTENT" (Great stuff to put on your Pocket PC! Skins, Flash files, eBooks, themes, graphics, etc.) to "Just Chattin'". I'm not complaining, but I thought it was in the right place since its about today skins and what people use on the today screen. Oh well...

pocketmon: This board is divided in two: frontpage items and community items. On the first (which goes to the frontpage) only the Pocket PC Thoughts Team can be topic starters. Due to some wrong settings by launch, it was possible for others to enter items in the frontpage forums. That was not suppoesed to be possible, and we've changed it. Some posts that were posted in the wrong forums by accident were moved to the community forums. Having all the categories we have ( and will need in near futur ) for the frontpage also for the community boards is a bit overkill, so we put your topic in a more generic forum. If CONTENT takes off as a community topic, it might get its own forum though.

How did you get the day as well as the date in the today screen?

Nothing special, Settings / Today / Items, Check mark on date. thats it.

Of course PPC 2002

Here's mine. It's not PPC 2002, but it uses:

- WISbar
- TodaysTheDay
- Calendar+
- Tasks (normal PPC app)
- tdLaunch

The "today" graphic that I used is modified from one that was on the TodaysTheDay web site. I used the GIMP to superimpose the Linux penguin onto the far right of the graphic. (The penguin is pretty popular at the site where I work. [smile])
