Courtesy of the talented <a target="_blank" href="http://www.dariuswey.com/">Mr. Darius Wey</a>, if you add any of our sites as a shortcut to your iPod Touch or iPhone home screen, you should see a snazzy icon appear, looking like this:<br /><br /><img border="1" src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/500/zt/auto/1204087933.usr1.jpg" alt="" /><br /><br />The graphics look cool, but the text is pretty funky (in a bad way).

Well you can set the text to be whatever you want (as with any bookmark), so you can choose things that fit.

Actually the default text for DHT is "Digital Home" which fits just fine. The others I trimmed to "Pocket PC" and "Zune" to avoid ellipses.

I already had you guys bookmarked, now I have you WebClip-ed as well.

The icons look nice.

Super job thanks. Even tho I've made the switch to the iPhone, I still visit and will continue to frequent the thoughts sites daily.

And for that, I say thank you. :)

Pardon my ignorance but 1: How do you make a Safari Bookmark on the Touch into an icon for the (should we call it the Desktop? :) ) Desktop? and 2: How do you then alter text on an icon? Mine is jailbroken.

You need firmware 1.1.3 or 1.1.4
Doesn't need to be jailbroken.
In Safari when you're on a site to bookmark, press + Button to bring up the Bookmark menu. Choose the "Add to Home Screen" option. That launches a screen that shows the icon to be used and an edit box allowing you to change the text of the bookmark. Change the text if desired and press "Add". Voila!

The ability to save bookmarks (aka WebClips) to the Home Screen was a new feature in firmware 1.1.3 (i.e. the one they want you to pay $20 for if you bought a Touch before mid-January).
