It appears to be feature packed and now has hour by hour forecasts. If we get caught out in the rain, I guess we can't blame them. I noticed that it's only $9.95 right now so it's a great deal to boot. Do you use a weather app or do you just go to a weather site on web for info. If you do use an app, which one? How does it compare with the features of Elecont Weather?

I use Elecont and like it. The frequency of updating forecasts is at your control so it won't make data calls if you don't want it to. The animation is kinda cool and is also totally under your control. The animation begins only when you scroll to the ap on the Today screen (do we still call it the Today screen?) and the length of time it runs is adjustable to your preference and battery concerns. The amount of detail in the forecasts is also adjustable. And when I travel, I love that I can easily add where I am going to the screen along with my home town weather. You view the additional cities by scrolling horizontally, so the ap doesn't take more space on your screen. All in all, it is a well designed program and one I refer to frequently through the day. I wouldn't have a Today screen without a weather program. I know there are lots to choose from, but Elecont is worth a try.
