It is capable of doing unlimited rentals and storing 100 hours of owned movies. Vudu has no activation fees and no subscription fees. Rentals range from 99¢ to $3.99, purchased movies from $4.99 to $19.99. So this would be rivaling your pay-per-view service that starts streaming movies instantly, however, it looks like they have a larger library of movies to choose from. Honestly, while I like the concept of the service, I am just not sure if I want yet another device sitting near my TV, with the cable box, the DVD, the XBox, speakers, receiver, just to name a few, my electricity bill is already way too high. Not to mention, do I really need to watch more TV? :)
