It's a real shame it ended with only 1000 responses, but I think the results are interesting. HD-DVD was voted the favourite by a nearly 2 to 1 margin, but more interesting to me was that female voters (299 of the 1000) preferred HD-DVD slightly more than 2 to 1, while male voters were more split with 1.4 to 1 preferring HD-DVD. Could it be a higher percentage of male voters owning PS3s while female voters are buying the stand-alone HD-DVD players to just watch movies on? Well, clearly it is because 360 owners who own the HD attachment are cooler than PS3 owners and therefore the ladies have more awareness of HD than BluRay.
