Iriver T60 sound Sucks (firmware v1.03)

When you listen in NORMAL mode it has speckles and tiny pops. Just like an old vynil record.
If you're a street walker or at gym, you probably wouldn't notice.
But if you want Hi-Fi in a silent room, buy something else.

That's unfortunate...I haven't owned an iRiver myself, but I've read that they're generally good-sounding players. The Zune sounds great. 8)

Yes, iRiver are good players, I don't want to ruin their prestige with this post here.

My brother has the iFP 795 wich is flawless in all respects and with many features and settings, just exactly what a sound geek would need.

I have the T60 a month and a half now, and it's amazing how little talk there is on internet about it still.
