I have used Studio since version 7 came with a computer I bought (one of the few times the shovelware on a new PC was worth something). I bought version 9 when it came out and had troubles galore. Patch after patch was needed but because I was familiar with the program I kept using it, just learing new habits such as saving my work every 5 minutes before the inevitable crash wiped everything out. I thought 9 had to be an aberation, so I bought 10 when it came out. Studio 10 was awful. Pinnacle managed to add incredible slowness to version 9's instability. They released a version 10.5 almost immediately it was so bad. I guess this fix did work for many people but not for me. I actually went back to version 9 which while unstable, at least didn't take forever to do everything.

I want to see lots of input from users about Version 11 before I even consider giving it a try.

I gave up on Pinnacle Studio a couple of years ago - it was just too unstable, too flaky, too prone to crashing. Adobe Premiere Elements is a good pick now.
