Here's a handy step by step tutorial which will show you how to put your iTunes player controls on the taskbar. I know it's been in iTunes (and Windows Media Player) for a while, but it's one of my favorite features! I love not having to bring the player window back up just to hit the pause button when the phone rings.

While I do like minimizing iTunes to a toolbar, I just wish my multimedia buttons would still be able to control iTunes when it is minimized this way.

You and me both. It annoys me to no end that my Microsoft Multimedia keyboard can't play/pause my iTunes. Argh. :?
