Lower-priced 720p panels, with the ability to "accept" a 1080p signal over HDMI. Consumers may be a bit disappointed when they get their "1080p Compatible" set home, only to discover that they're about a million pixels short of a 1080p picture. The HDTV waters are murky, make sure you know what you're getting.
