Here's the scenario: My PC's in the shop and, me being me, I went out and bought a bunch of CDs today with the intent of ripping them to MP3 format for use on my iPod even though I don't have access to my machine. However, I still have the harddrive from my PC with me and all my music is on the second partition of the drive, with the first partition containing all the typical C: drive files.

Is it possible to create a user on another PC with the same username as the one I use on my PC, map the data partition of my harddrive to the same drive letter it uses on my PC, copy the iTunes database files to the [my username]\My Documents\My Music\iTunes folder, and add the new CDs to my iTunes library that way?

(I am not worried about any iTunes credentials, as my collection is 100% MP3 and I have never purchased anything from the ITMS.)
