Activewin has put together 250 screenshots of Windows Vista, so if you want to see exactly what the final version looks like, check it out!

I quite like it, but it's STILL possible to take down the entire OS simply by ejecting a CD with an autorun dialog open. Try it:

1) Insert a CD
2) Wait until some sort of dialog comes up with "Play / Install / View Readme" etc. (ie, the ones that come with every game...)
3) Eject the CD
4) Close the dialog.

Enjoy the fun as your computer completely freezes.

Did you try this with the RC2 or RTM version of Vista? Quite surprising to see this possible in Vista, but I personally like to turn off AutoRun to avoid getting ugly surprises like rootkits with love from Sony.

Sorry, I meant to say any of those flash based installer front ends (the ones that pop up when you double click on the CD icon in My Computer. Not the Windows autorun dialog itself.
