The Wireless DJ components are beautifully constructed with noticeable attention to detail. They are very classy looking, and the remote interface is simple and intuitive. The remote's LCD screen conveniently allows you to retain the benefits of browsing through song titles as you would on your PC, and as soon as the patch is released this feature will improve greatly. The StreamPoint software consumed few PC resources, so it won't bog down your computer while it streams files. It worked flawlessly as it switched back and forth between media players to access DRM protected content. <br />All things considered, the Logitech wireless DJ music system is an impressive product and ideal for anyone who wants to listen to their digital music without being chained to a PC. And because everything you need comes in the box and sets up easily, it's especially suited for those who aren't networking savvy. Highly recommended!"<br /><br /><img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/wirelessdj_box.jpg" /><br /><br />I'm still using the old fashioned sneaker net to manually plug my MP3 player with my complete library on it into my stereo. I got mine last week, haven't had much chance to play -- but when it worked it sounded very good, no dropouts or stray noise. I have a dedicated PC (1.8Ghz,512Mb running XP Pro) that is in my office area, the reciever is in a kitchen cabnet about 50' two walls and a microwave away. The scrolling problem is something they will have to fix!!! Playing ZZ Top is a real drag.

It would be very nice if the streampoint software could be running as a system service, so I don't have to leave a computer logged on to use it. I think the problems I'm having are two fold 1) I have WMP 11 on the box that the logitech is connected to -- and the Streampoint software wasn't picking up my libraries right away, it never pickup the playlist or Radio stations I setup.... I think I'll go back to WMP10 and see if things are better there. 2) I'm running Windows SBS network, with the music sitting on the server/domain controller. I think I might have to try it with the music files local.

Once I've had more time to play I'll report back here what worked for me. -- But I can say several things 1) The wife likes it, and thinks she will use it -- something that never happened wth the MP101 I had. 2) it looks like logitech is trying to make this work -- they have people monitoring the user forum and answering questions.
