The company has far surpassed the daily number of uploads enjoyed by popular websites such as YouTube, which average only about 65,000 video uploads daily. Since January 2006, Streamload has experienced a more than 300 percent increase in music, video, photo and document uploads. This immense growth in customer use results from the recent launches of its ‘powered by Streamload’ partnerships, including Embarq Media Safe™, AMD Live!™ Media Vault, and Discovery Communications’ viewer uploader. Across the company’s ‘powered by Streamload’ applications, users share more than 3 million files per day... Streamload’s web services platform also enables partners to quickly and easily integrate its technology into their applications and websites with little or no upfront inves™ent. In fact, the technology for MediaMax, Embarq Media Safe, and AMD Live! Media Vault is so efficient that the services offer customers 25 GB of online storage for free."

Wow. 8O 750,000 uploads per diem is quite a number. Most companies would kill for that kind of 'foot traffic'. The reason it's so high of course is that they license the tech to various popular services offered by people like Discovery. I predict services like these will gain popularity and will get more and more common as time goes on. Does anyone here use an upload service like this one? Are you one of those 750K? One thing is certain: People love their content and want others to see it.
