I order my Sanyo vpc-CA6 from http://www.bwayphoto.com. I had a horrible experience trying to order from these people. The sales person tried to high pressure me into buying upgrade packages, etc. They requested that I call to "verify" my order. When I called, I was told that I had to add $100.00 worth of extras. They were highly pressured and their prices for add-ons were way above MSRP. They tried to sell me an extended life battery, because they claimed that the battery that the camera came with was just a "demo" battery, and would not last more than a few minutes. This is a complete lie. When I told the man that I did not need any of it and to cancel my order, he hung up on me.

I’m the lucky one. My order was cancelled. I heard that some victims will be told that "the order is shipped and cannot be canceled". If you reject the delivery and the order returns to them, the shipping fee and 15% restoring fee will be charged for sure. I guess this is the way they make money.

If you do not want to be another, just pass them over. It was such a horrible experience. And, I'll try to put the word out on every review site I can. DANGER, STAY AWAY FROM THIS RETAILER!

Yeah, I've heard bad things about that company, and many others that operate in the New York area. I've had good experiences with Adorama (www.adorama.com) in terms of finding hard to find stuff.
