This appears to be identical to the archos av500 30 gig player. If it is why is dishnetwork selling it for 80-100 dollars less. anyone own one can tell me if you can take video off your pc and put in the pocket

I have seen these as well. They do appear to be identical. I doubt you'll find any data on it without contacting Dish. I'm pretty certain that it functions the exact same way but with a little more software to interface with the Dish box. We'd need to hear from someone who owns one to be certain...
