Seeing as how the UMD market has all but dried up and gamers often use their PSPs to view their movies on the go, SanDisk's 4GB Memory Stick PRO Duo is a welcome accessory. According to Sandisk, the new card can accommodate 64 hours of MP3 music, 20 hours of video footage, 12 hours of game saves or as many as 4,000 images. While this is all great news, you will pay dearly for it. With a suggested retail price of $220, that puts the 4GB card above the typical street price for a new PSP. Also new from Sandisk today is a 1GB RapidGX card for the PSP which retails for $85."

Very cool but wow, look at the prices. These cards are as expensive as the PSP itself. The 4GB card is actually much more expensive even though it does offer really good capacity.

"12 hours of game saves"

I wonder what exactly that means?

And with music at 128kbps it can actually hold 70 hours of music. Which doesn't actually sound like very much - even though it's 3 days of continuous listening.
