This device charges up to 4 Sony, JVC, Canon, or Panasonic batteries at the same time, and has a boatload of features you might never have known were possible in a battery charger. The review is very thorough, and Douglas makes sure he tests and points out everything relevant to a videographer. The conclusion? Surprise, surprise, he liked it a lot. But who wouldn’t like a $500 battery charger?"

Damn, I just read the review and that is one hell of a battery charger. There is a two-line LCD that gives all kinds of messages about the status of the batteries and the charger seems to be able to charge at really incredible speeds. But the article is right - are you willing to drop $500 for a charger, no matter how good it is?!
