Usually lasers and eyeballs don't mix unless you are getting vision correction surgery.

Maybe that's one of the features of the set. (Or maybe, when you try to zap a commercial, the advertiser can zap you back.)

Assuming they're mechanically scanning the laser, I can't see there being a massive problem. You can hurt your eyes looking into a standard projection bulb.
