The company plans to brief hardware developers, partners, and analysts on the nitty-gritty details of its new microarchitecture, which is set to replace Intel's blueprints for desktop, mobile and server processors."</i><br /><br />If you've ever done any video encoding, you'll understand what I mean when I say there's no such thing as a CPU that's "fast enough". This is great news that after several years of getting their clocks cleaned by AMD, Intel is fighting back with even more powerful CPUs. Bring on the speed...as long as they also run cool and quiet as well. ;-)
