One thing they didn't explain was how the whole remote function was going to work. Will the skip/volume be integrated into the heaphone cords?

I welcome it because I would have missed the wired remote whenever I have to upgrade my iPod (I'm out of room). But many have been bashing it because it's $50 to add a radio which they say should have been there from the beginning. To each their own.

To answer the question about the remote functions, it's an in-wire puck just like the previous wired remote - except this time they used the control pad from the shuffle (so it's a little bigger) and it uses the dock connector instead of the accessory port since it's gone from new iPods.
