I've been decidely anti-iPod in the past, but their fifth-generation devices are starting to appeal to me. I'm about to make the leap (I just need to find a FutureShop that has one in stock - I have a bunch of FutureShop gift cards that need using up) and have one question:
Can you hook an iPod up to a fresh Windows machine (no third-party software installed) and have the iPod be recognized as a USB mass storage device/external harddrive? If not, how hard/simple is it to do so?
