Ok, it has probably been a whole 24 hours since you have all opened your Christmas gifts (much more for those impatient ones that got into the stash early ;-)). We figured it would be cool to open up a thread to discuss what you got as gifts. Personally, since I just moved to Seattle, I don't really know anyone here yet so I have been forced to buy myself gifts. :-) However, it has been a good Christmas. Most notable thing this week is that I bought myself an Oppo DVD player (http://www.oppodigital.com/) (will review it next week).

This thing is sweeet! We got a pretty good boxing day price so we decided to go for it. Our old Sony Trinatron is about 10 years old and on it's last legs. So we've been talking and looking at TVs. We expected to hold off for a couple more months, but.... :mrgreen:

We're not big into exchanging gifts, we're more into getting together and exchanging smaller gifts. My family apparantly is worried about my personal hygiene. They gave me:

- deodorant
- after shave
- bath foam
- bath towel
- a new shirt

Happily I also got some chocolates.

Someone who *really* knew what I wanted (me, myself and I) got me a very nice Digital Zuiko 50mm f2 macro lens, and the EX-25 extension tube.
