The PlayDock is reasonably priced for a portable speaker system of this size and quality, powerful enough for indoor and even small outdoor gatherings, and versatile enough to work with almost any portable audio device."

Not a bad choice for those who don't own an iPod. It supports USB charging and can hold pretty much any digital media player (including iPods). I would have liked to see a remote control, but given the poor choice of speaker systems that support non iPod players the unit is a winner in my book.

Slightly ot: I saw in one of the Calgary flyers today a set of Klipsch iPod speakers for $600CAD. A 60GB iPod Colour can be had for $520CAD.
